About Me

Christine Leonard is the owner of Full Circle Consulting, LLC. Christine has a lengthy history of providing services to adolescents, teens, young adults, and adults from a variety of socioeconomic classes and for a variety of reasons.  

Christine is an eclectic seasoned counselor trained in several evidence-based treatment modalities including but not limited to Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Person-Centered, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Strengths Based Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Trauma Recovery Empowerment Model (TREM). Christine is also a Motivation Interviewing Trainer of Trainers. Christine has the ability to provide information sessions/training on Motivation Interviewing and Substance Abuse Profession (SAP) requirements to employers regarding DOT requirements. 

Christine maintains several certifications and is a licensed associate currently completing the required hours to be independently licensed. Currently, Christine’s certifications include National Certified Addiction Counselor II (NCACII), Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (AADC), and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP). Christine is currently in the process with Addiction Professionals for South Carolina (APSC) and gaining the required hours toward a Clinical Supervisor Certification. Christine is also currently practicing as a Licensed Addiction Counselor - Associate (LAC-A) and a Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate (LPC-A) while obtaining the supervision hours to become independently licensed. 

Christine also conducts Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) Evaluations to evaluate employees who have violated a DOT drug and alcohol program regulation and make recommendations concerning education or treatment, follow-up testing, and aftercare. As a SAP, it is my responsibility to protect the public interest in safety by evaluating those who have a DOT violation.
